Michael Haberfelner inteviews Amy Hesketh about Sirwiñakuy

A new interview was posted in SearchMyTrash,
This time Michael Haberfelner interviews Amy Hesketh.  The North American film director, producer, actress talks at length about her directorial debut Sirwiñakuy, the most controversial Bolivian film, so far... Maleficarum will be out soon and...
Michael Haberfelner: Sirwiñakuy basically describes a tradition practiced by some indigenous Andean tribes of men kidnapping their potential wives and live with them for any amount of time (some times years) to figure out if they are at all compatible. If yes, marriage is to follow, if no, the woman is let go ...
Sirwiñakuy is also the title of Amy Hesketh's first feature film as a director, and it's quite an amazing film at that - and since I just love amazing films, I simply had to talk to Amy - and fortunately, she was willing to answer whatever questions I had.
